BOAZ CLUBS

We offer our children a wide variety of co-curricular activities. It is mandatory for each student of Classes 6–9 to be a part of at least one of the clubs. Classes are conducted on alternate Thursdays through Microsoft Teams between 3.00 and 3.30 pm.

1. TAMIL CLUB

In this club students are taught how to analyze a report critically and present their views in an appropriate format. The students are also given ample opportunities to polish their oratory skills through activities such as extempore, debate, discussion, talk shows, etc.

2. ENGLISH CLUB

The aim of the club is to hone the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills of the students. It also strives to develop a love for the language, while polishing the oratory skills of the students.

3. HINDI CLUB

In this club students learn the finer points of the structure of their presentation, the target audience, body language, the visual channel and vocal variety to enhance their public speaking skills.Regular discussions on critical and interesting editorials are used to engage students in an enriching manner.

4. MATH CLUB

This club has been introduced with the aim of making mathematics fun for students. It endeavours to help students grasp mathematical concepts better through activities like puzzles, shortcuts, calculations, games, quiz.

5. SCIENCE CLUB

This club inculcates a scientific temper among students by introducing concepts of science through a process of inquiry, experimentation and analysis.

6. GARDENING CLUB

Saving Mother Earth is the focus of this club. Children are engaged in various projects to help clean up and green up our local community by gardening. It sensitizes students towards eco awareness, maintenance of greenery around homes by various planting-drive programme, making best out of waste, and so on.

7. MUSIC CLUB
It is a platform for peers to bond over music in terms of performing, collaborating, learning, sharing, exploring and creating by studying diversity in music. This club introduces students to vocal music as a genre of music performed by one or more singers. The students are told about the importance of lyrics in producing a harmonious and melodious piece of music.

8. RSP

The club provides a platform to the students to discuss safety measures especially on roads. Activities like poster making, slogan writing, group discussion, skits and projects are discussed. Students also spread awareness in and around the school by talking to people and children about adoption of safety measures.

 

9. SCOUTS AND GUIDES

It is special club formed with the motive of helping students develop their team building skills, to savour the thrills of adventure, and have them show compassion towards others by performing service-based, health-enhancement activities.

10. JRC
This club promotes health and hygiene. Health, service, friendship is the motto of the JRC club. It includes activities like promotion of health, service to the sick and suffering, cleanliness of our surroundings, training, and administration of First Aid, etc.

11. NEWS

Students prepare and take turns in hosting news programmes. The process makes them avid readers, knowledge seekers and smart thinkers with excellent analytical skills.

12. QUIZ

The Quiz club is active and efficient in igniting young minds to consistently raise the bar in quizzing. Students gather and discuss vital information regarding various fields such as scientific inventions, discoveries, sports, education, achievements, awards, etc., around the globe.

 

13. ECO

This club is very popular with students. It combines class curriculum and outdoor training and helps students to learn about ecology, forestry, soil and land use, wildlife, and current environmental issues.

14. BAND

Band instructs students about the fundamentals of marching and performing with a group of musicians The students are instructed about controlled body movements for a dignified and graceful display.
