Annual Sports Report, 2023–24

We are proud to announce another year of remarkable achievements and dedication within our school’s sports programme. Our students have demonstrated exceptional talent, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the year, making us proud to be part of such an incredible community. Let’s take a moment to celebrate their accomplishments and the collective effort that has brought us to this point.

Highlights

J. Karthika of Class 11 along with her team won the Bronze Medal in the relay category of the Asian Games. Karthika was the youngest contestant and winner at age 15. She also went on to win 4 Gold Medals in the 61st Roller Skating National Level competition and a Silver Medal in Marathon in the Women’s Category.

Jaswanth of Class 10 won third place in Table Tennis conducted at NSN School.

Advaita of Class 3 secured Runner Up position in the Junior Girls Singles organized by Myndz Badminton Academy.

Prajeesh of Class 9 won the Bronze Medal  in the South Cluster Meet; 2 Gold Medals in the Kanchipuram District Meet; Silver and Bronze Medals in the Tamilnadu State Meet.

Manimaran of Class 7 C won eighth place in Chess at the Tamil Nadu State Level Tournament.

Jeswanth and Claudius Rica of Class 5 won second place in Long Jump at the sports meet conducted by AKG Public School.

Boaz Kho Kho team won fourth place in the South Cluster Meet.

Kavinaresh of Class 5 won third place in Long Jump at the AKG Public School sports meet.       Jerrick of Class 8 won the Gold Medal in Long Jump, and Silver Medal and Bronze Medal in Shotput at the sports meet of Tamilnadu Sports University. Elakkiya of Class 12 won Bronze Medal in 200mts and Silver Medal in 100mts at the Tamilnadu Sports University meet. Eniya  of Class 6 won Gold Medal in 100mts and 200mts, and Silver Medal  in Long Jump  at the Tamilnadu Sports University meet.

Karthik of Class 11B won first place in the International Open Karate Championship.

Swethan of Class 7C and Pavethran of Class 5C secured the Nova World Record in Yoga.

Pratheeban of Class 4C won second prize and Suwethan of Class 7C won third prize in the State Level Silambam Competition
